The wife improved on an otherwise frustrating food day. She made a delicious meatless shabu shabu style soup with kale, cabbage, baby bok choy, broccol, noodles and other veggies over a bowl of brown rice. Then garnished with ponzu. Of course during dinner I realized the ponzu had a small amount of sugar. 1 gram per tablespoon which is about 1/4 of a teaspoon. Is this acceptable or is dinner a failure? Sigh...
